John Knight is Reader in Anthropology at Queen’s University Belfast. He is a social anthropologist specializing in Japan whose research interests include environmental anthropology and human–animal relations. He is the author of Waiting for Wolves in Japan (Oxford, 2003) and Herding Monkeys to Paradise (Brill, 2011).
